3 6 Prepare a Trial Balance Principles of Accounting, Volume 1: Financial Accounting

Preparing an Adjusted Trial Balance: A Guide

The adjusted trial balance is completed to ensure that the period ending financial statements will be accurate and in balance. In addition, an adjusted trial balance is used to prepare closing entries. You could post accounts to the adjusted trial balance using the same method used in creating the unadjusted trial balance.
